How Shipping Cost Is Calculated
The cost of freight transportation is calculated individually for each route and depends on the mode of transport (road, sea, air), the weight and volume of the cargo, the type of cargo, and the delivery destination. ETS provides the exact price after you fill out the form — your request is handled by a personal manager who takes all shipment details into account.
What affects the cost:
- Route and distance — country of origin and destination, availability of direct connections
- Weight and volume — the minimum delivery weight is 500 kg or 1 m³
- Cargo type — general, oversized, temperature-controlled (refrigerated/isothermal), dangerous goods ADR
- Mode of transport — road, sea container, or air freight
- Urgency — standard or expedited delivery
- Duties and fees — customs clearance is included in the calculation when needed
